Tree Planting Objectives and Benefits
- A Healthy Forest means a healthy society and future
- Alleviate the climate change impact and increase biodiversity
- Additional livelihood for the marginalized coastal and Upland farm communities
- Healing and rehabilitation from the pandemic
- Educational venue for the volunteers
- Great for the mental health of the volunteer tree planters.
- Prevent soil erosion, coastal flooding, and ocean pollution
- Coastal PROTECTION from Storm Surge, sea-level rise, and tsunami
- Healthy mangrove forests are excellent for carbon sequestration
- Increase awareness of the importance of mangroves and healthy forests.
Proper Attire:
- Cotton Shirt
- Leggings/board shorts
- Thick socks or rainboots or booties or aquashoes
- Cap or anything to cover your head from the sun
- sunblock
Participants Need to Bring:
- Extra sets of clothes (shirt, pants, underwear, and footwear)
- Personal hygiene items and toiletries
- Personal First Aid Kit
- Water tumbler
- Face towel or handkerchief
- Raincoat or Umbrella

A: We want everything organized before the event, we don’t accommodate walk ins.
